National and Local Membership
You can join or renew your National Audubon Society membership by going to this site - National Audubon Society membership.
When you become a National Audubon Society member using this form, it will automatically make you a Quad City Audubon Society member as well. The National Audubon form allows you to contribute one-time, monthly or yearly. A donation of $20 is the minimum amount to become both a national and a local member. National membership entitles you to Audubon magazine and also Mississippi Currents, the Quad City chapter’s newsletter.

The Quad City Audubon Society (QCAS) is dedicated to the enjoyment of birds, a better understanding of the natural world, stewardship of natural areas and habitats, fellowship, improvement of community awareness of environmental issues, and education of youth for the benefit of future generations.

Programs
Thursday October 8th, 6:00 pm, Membership meeting and program: Migrating Birds in our Area presented by Tim Murphy, Past President of Quad City Audubon Society and local birding expert. Deere-Wiman House, 817 11th Avenue, Moline.
Thursday December 10th, Membership Meeting and Pie Night at Deere-Wiman House, 817 11th Avenue, Moline. Meet at 6 p.m. for our annual pie night and officer elections.
Field Trips
September 26, 2026 – Eagle Point Park and Bickelhaupt Arboretum, Clinton Iowa. Meet 7:00 am at Lock and Dam 14 parking lot, LeClaire, Iowa. Great Mississippi River views while we look for migrating songbirds.
October 17, 2026 – Sunderbruch Park /Nahant Marsh/Fairmont Cemetery. Meet 7:00 am Sunderbruch parking lot. A fall stroll through these city greenspaces looking for late migrant and resident birds.
November 15, 2026– Spring Lake all day field trip looking for waterfowl in Upper Mississippi River Refuge areas near Tomson, Illinois. Meet at the Rapid City, IL boat ramp parking lot at 8:00 am.
December– Christmas bird count.
